Temporary road closures in Ponoka due to paving

PONOKA- Temporary road closures are expected in Ponoka this week on 52 Ave. (between 50 St. and 51 St.) and at 62 St. and 52 Ave. as crews prepare to begin paving work at both of these locations (weather pending).

The temporary road closures are expected to continue into next week until the paving improvements are completed.

Pedestrians and motorists are asked to avoid these locations if possible.

Paving work is also expected to occur at the following locations over the next two weeks. These roadways are expected to remain open while the work is completed:

– 38 St. near 46 Ave.
