Dr. Hinshaw shares COVID-19 update for July 16

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is set to provide her latest update on COVID-19 in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak during a news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. You can watch the news conference below once it begins.

As of Wednesday, the number of active cases in the province was 704, while the number of recoveries has risen by 79 to 8,127.

There were eight active cases of COVID-19 in Red Deer as of Wednesday out of 61 across the Central Zone.
