Aspire’s Push & Pace is back July 25 virtually

Jul 12, 2020 | 2:42 PM

Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre is pleased to announce that Aspire’s annual Push & Pace Fundraising Walk and Run will take place on Saturday, July 25 … VIRTUALLY!

While there is no set distance, participants are challenged to set a goal and push and pace themselves towards reaching it. Almost any physical activity counts … walk, run, bike, golf, dance, push, scoot … but remember to HAVE FUN!

“Aspire is thrilled about this new take on an already great event. Re-thinking Push and Pace to keep our families and children safe was an easy shift. We hope this virtual format encourages more people than ever to participate. Push and Pace offers a chance for our community to be active in support of Aspire and the children and families we serve. While we love to be together for Push and Pace, we know that we will all be active and moving on July 25th in support of children with special needs.” said JoAnne Hayden, Aspire’s Executive Director.

Every dollar counts with all donations and pledges helping Aspire support children with special needs in central Alberta by providing back-to-school kits, assessment and therapy tools as well as specialized sensory and gym equipment.
