EDMONTON- Alberta’s politicians are accusing each other of bullying and belittling women in politics, after an NDP member was kicked out of the house during debate on Thursday.

NDP member Marie Renaud was ordered out by deputy Speaker Nicholas Milliken after she said she felt intimidated by gestures being made from the United Conservative side.

Renaud says the UCPers were staring at her and making facial gestures.

Milliken says Renaud was disrupting the house and making unfair accusations, and he ordered her out when she refused to apologize.
