Lacombe Memorial Centre opening up for more bookings

Restrictions at the Lacombe Memorial Central are set to be relaxed starting July 2.

In accordance with the second stage of the province’s relaunch, the venue will become available for more bookings.

According to a City release, bookings will be arranged to stagger start, break and end times from others and to manage arrivals, restroom use, and departures to limit crowding and prevent cross contamination. Please respect all wall gates, dividers and stanchions in place to direct visitors. To enquire about pre-booking a room rental, call 403-782-6668 ext. 1.

Physical distancing and disinfection protocols will remain in effect, and general public access to common areas is not recommended.

As well, anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 or who has been in close contact with someone that has COVID-19, should not enter the facility.

Other amenities in the building are open now, accessible using the LMC’s north western doors at the parking lot, or the south patio doors from Lest We Forget Park.

Anna Maria’s Café hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday, plus special events; Lacombe & District FCSS on the second floor is open for appointments by calling 403-782-6637 (see www.lacombefcss.net), and the Mary C. Moore Library will reopen July 2 with reduced hours. See www.lacombelibrary.com for up to date information.
