Alberta reports 32 new COVID-19 cases

Another 23 Albertans have recovered from COVID-19, according today’s updated numbers from the province, for a total of 7,041.

The number of active cases in Alberta is 542.

A total of 32 new cases were confirmed Monday out of about 6,900 completed tests over the past 24 hours. That brings the province’s overall total cases to 7,736.

An additional death is being reported as Alberta has now seen 153 fatalities from the virus.

There are 32 Albertans in hospital because of COVID-19 as of Monday. Six of them are intensive care.

There remain three active cases in the Central Zone, including one in Red Deer. None of the active Central Zone cases are in hospital.
