Two people have been arrested after a police cruiser was rammed in Lacombe on Tuesday.

The Lacombe Police Service (LPS) says it was notified by the Calgary Police Service Auto Theft Team of a stolen vehicle which had been observed in the area of 63 Street in Lacombe. It’s alleged the vehicle had been involved in an assault with a weapon complaint in the Calgary area.

Officers attended the area and observed the stolen vehicle being filled with fuel, Police then attempted to apprehend the occupants by blocking the exits with their vehicles.
