Province wants nominations for Seniors Service Awards

The province is now accepting nominations for its annual Seniors Service Awards.

Minister of Seniors and Housing Josephine Pon says now more than ever — because of COVID-19 — it’s important to recognize how individuals and businesses and non-profits have helped seniors.

“I encourage Albertans to think about the people, companies and organizations they know who are doing this important work and nominate them for a Minister’s Seniors Service Award,” she says.

The deadline for nominations is August 11.

Award categories include: Individuals, Businesses and Non-profit organizations. Sub-categories include: Volunteerism, Philanthropy, Innovation, and Outstanding service.
