Ross Street Patio to be installed by June 15
The City of Red Deer says a modified version of the Ross Street Patio will be installed by June 15.
The patio this year will feature fewer tables to abide by physical distancing measures for the COVID-19 pandemic. No programming is scheduled for the patio at this time.
As well, seasonal patios will be permitted to open in downtown Red Deer through the city’s seasonal patio program aimed at making it easier for businesses to reopen while adhering to provincial public health orders.
The program runs each year with downtown food and entertainment businesses encouraged to apply for a patio, which extends out from the front of their business.
