Road closure in Mountview next week

RED DEER- A sanitary main will be replaced at the intersection of 43A Avenue and 39 Street, with work starting next week.

The sanitary main was identified as being in poor condition and in need of replacement as crews were working to replace a water main in the same area earlier this month.

Crews contracted by The City of Red Deer will be conducting the work from 7 a.m. on Monday, June 1 to approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 2.

During this time, the intersection of 43A Avenue and 39 Street will be closed to traffic.

Drivers should use 43 Avenue, 37 Street and 44 Avenue as detours and are reminded to obey all signs and slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas.
