Lacombe Food Bank benefits from Burger of the Month

LACOMBE- At Cilantro and Chive we are not letting anything break our stride when it comes to our beloved Burger of the Month program and giving back to the community when it needs it most.

While we may not have had a guest chef in April, we were still over the moon with the support we received.

Our team created the “Chicken Parmesan Burger” which included crispy fried chicken, rustic house tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, arugula and parmesan aioli on a brioche bun! $2 from every burger sold went directly to the Lacombe Food Bank.

With everyone’s situations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and donations down as a result of the uncertain times, it was important for our team to support the Food Bank and work to ensure all families and individuals have the food they need during this unprecedented time.

Cilantro and Chive Owner Rieley Kay was thrilled to hand over a cheque for $668 that will be used to help re-stock the shelves.
