Lacombe County launches online credit card payment option

Lacombe County is now accepting credit card payments using OptionPay – a third party software provider.

For a fee, OptionPay provides residents with another convenient method of payment for water bills, taxes, development fees, dust control and more.

OptionPay uses a tiered fee schedule to collect a fee on each transaction.

What is OptionPay? OptionPay is a credit card payment system with a tiered fee schedule, starting with a minimum fee of $2.00 per transaction. Fees will be included in your transaction, and you will have the option to approve or discontinue your transaction. Visit their fee schedule here.

The fees are administered through the OptionPay program for the use of their service, and not through Lacombe County.
