Apr 30, 2020 | 8:46 PM

For the second time this week Carter O’Donnell has been snapped up by a professional football team.

The star offensive lineman from Red Deer was selected 22nd overall by the Montreal Alouettes on Thursday in the 2020 CFL Draft.

O’Donnell signed this past weekend as an undrafted free agent last weekend with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.

The former Lindsay Thurber Raider spent the last four seasons anchoring the offensive line for the University of Alberta Golden Bears and was a U Sports All-Canadian in 2019. In January, he played in the East-West Shrine Bowl in St. Petersburg, Florida.
