Mounties investigate infant death in Airdrie

RCMP in southern Alberta are investigating the death of a baby.

Police say officers in their Airdrie detachment responded to a report yesterday afternoon of an infant that wasn’t breathing.

They say the three-week-old was brought by ambulance to Calgary Children’s Hospital and was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police say the child’s death isn’t believed to be related to COVID-19.
