Geese statues wearing face masks at Bower Ponds

A city artist is winging it to show support for those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The artist, wishing to remain anonymous, has placed facemasks on some of the goose statues at Bower Ponds (Great Chief Park).

The artist says the masks were used leftovers from his wood shop and that he wants to spread smiles on the faces of those who pass by and is grateful of front line workers for their heroism.
