Drayton Valley Community Foundation delivering pizza for monthly community dinner

After canceling March’s community dinner in Drayton Valley amid the start of COVID-19, the Drayton Valley Community Foundation will be holding a dinner this month, in a different style than usual.

Instead of having dinner at the Mackenzie Centre next Tuesday, volunteers will be delivering pizza between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm to homes that have placed an order.

Willows Construction is sponsoring this month’s dinner, with support from pizza places around town.

The motto, “pay what you can or nothing at all” still applies and people can place their order for one large pizza of either cheese, pepperoni, Hawaiian, or bacon and tomato by emailing ed@dvcf.org.

When ordering, include your name, phone number, delivery address, and pizza choice.

The first 160 orders will be fulfilled, and the order deadline is this Saturday, April 18.
