Three arrested with prohibited firearms, meth, stolen property
On Monday, the Innisfail RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter in progress at the Horn Hill waste transfer station.
Officers responded immediately and arrested three suspects on scene in relation to the break and enter and possession of a stolen Ford F-350. A search of the stolen vehicle revealed a loaded, sawed-off shotgun, a substance believed to be methamphetamine, and a significant quantity of stolen property.
Charges against Conner Mueller, 27, of Red Deer is charged with 21 counts that include breaking and entering with intent, possession of stolen property over (and under) $5000, numerous firearms counts, two counts of obstructing a peace officer and two counts of possession of methamphetamine.
Mac Smith, 37, of Edmonton has been charged with 22 counts, including five for failing to comply with a release order, two for breach of probation, numerous break and enter, stolen property and firearms-related charges, and two counts of possession of methamphetamine.
