Alberta Sports Hall of Fame postpones induction banquet

The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame has postponed its 2020 Induction Banquet until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.
The banquet had been scheduled for Friday, May 29, at the Cambridge Red Deer Hotel and Conference Centre.
“We are currently looking for a new date and venue, which most likely will be in the fall,” the hall of fame says in a release. “It is our intent to host the 2020 Induction Banquet in 2020 and we will notify you as soon details have been firmed up.”
