Alberta shares COVID-19 update for April 2

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health will provide an update on COVID-19 and the ongoing work to protect public health.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak at a news conference scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.

Alberta announced 117 new cases of the virus on Wednesday, bringing the total number in the province to 871.

There were two more deaths, bringing the total to 11.
