Playgrounds close in Brazeau County and Drayton Valley

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Brazeau County has now announced that all municipal playground structures in the County are closed to the public effective immediately.

Green spaces within Brazeau County remain open.

The announcement follows the Town of Drayton Valley, which has also decided to close all community playgrounds to the public, effective as of Wednesday.

This includes the playground structures at both Wild Rose School Division schools and at STAR Catholic schools.

Parks within the Town, including green spaces, are still open and when using the public green spaces, social distancing practices are highly recommended.
