Restaurants in Rocky still serving locals

Numerous food establishments in Rocky Mountain House remain open in various forms as the community and province deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Local businesses are asking for support and are doing what they can to continue to offer their services and to be as accommodating as possible.

Fast Food

– Dairy Queen Grill and Chill has closed its in room dining but is keeping its drive thru open as well as allowing mobile ordering and curb side pick-up through their app for those unable to go through drive thru.

– A&W will be allowing customers to come in to grab food but will not be offering in room dining. They still have an active drive thru and take out, and are offering an incentive for using the mobile app by giving a free coffee by using it.

– Tim Hortons have closed their in dining seating areas and our focusing on an in restaurant take-out and drive-thru. They ask that more people order via their app as to reduce contact. https://www.facebook.com/TimHortons/

– Subway has increased cleaning and sanitation and has temporarily removed dine-in sandwich baskets and serving trays and amending the beverage refill policy by offering a new cup instead of refilling the old one.

Local Dine In/Order

– Nick’s Diner & Pizza remains open and continues to be cleaned and sanitized frequently and has reduced the amount of tables and seating to allow for adequate spacing between customers. Their hours have changed to 12pm to 8pm and to incentivize customers to do take out, are offering 15% off all take-out orders. Phone: 403-845-4488

– Olde Smokey’s BBQ Shack are now offering delivery, as well as takeout. They aren’t currently able to process debit card purchases at your home, but will be accepting cash in person, or credit card purchasing over the phone. Phone: 403-871-2228

– Copper Creek is open from 9am to 4pm on weekdays and closed on weekends and are hoping for more online orders and pickups. Phone: 403-844-4401

– Boston Pizza have closed their dining room and sports bar and their hours are now noon to 8pm for daily take out and delivery with a limited menu, but are offering free delivery. Phone 403-846-2343.

Pizza

– Domino’s Pizza have upped their sanitation routine and are starting a ‘Contactless Carryout’ policy. Their lobby will be closed until further notice. They ask that anyone who wishes to place an order do so online or over the phone. With the ‘Contactless Carryout’ they will deliver to your care if you call you just need to let them know your name and car description. Phone: 403-845-2244
