Province gives COVID-19 update for March 16

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, and officials will provide an update on COVID-19 and the province’s ongoing work to protect public health.
A media availibility e is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. You can watch it live below.
Dr. Hinshaw will appear at the media availability via video conferencing. She is currently experiencing mild symptoms consistent with the common cold, likely, according to officials, due to the long hours that she has been working in recent weeks. The province says her symptoms do not appear to be consistent with COVID-19.
