Carnival Cinemas offers update amid COVID-19 concerns

In a letter to patrons, Carnival Cinemas President Bill Ramji says the theatre will remain open, but cancel all late night showtimes until further notice.

“Our theatre capacity has been reduced to encourage social distancing and we have taken extra measures to enhance our already stringent cleaning protocols throughout the theatre, focusing on heavily touched and used surfaces,” Ramji writes.

The letter goes on to say that Carnival Cinemas is monitoring the guidelines and recommendations from the government, public health authorities, and the Motion Picture Theatre Association.

“At this time, we do request all of our guests who may be feeling unwell to refrain from visiting us, for everyone’s health and safety.”
