Man accused in Lethbridge & Edmonton homicides arrested in Regina
LETHBRIDGE- Police in Regina have apprehended a man charged with two separate counts of second-degree murder.
According to Edmonton Police Service (EPS), Mohamud Omar Dhiblawe, 29, was arrested at a residence in Regina on March 6, during an unrelated drug search warrant.
On Thursday, February 6, a 35-year-old man was found dead in a home on University Drive West in Lethbridge following reports of numerous gunshots.
Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says it was a targeted incident and the parties involved were known to each other. Investigators believe there was a verbal dispute surrounding the illicit drug trade.
