Mar 1, 2020 | 3:00 PM

It’s time to shine a light on the hidden truths and realities behind sexual violence.

The Psychology Society of Red Deer College (Psyc. Society) and the Central Alberta Sexual Assault Support Centre (CASASC) have partnered together for Hidden Truths: Realities of Sexual Assault – the annual undergraduate Psyc. Society symposium.

Join us on Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m. at the Welikoklad Event Centre (4922 49 Street, Red Deer, Alta.) for an interactive and enlightening evening of discussion.

The purpose of the symposium is to bring awareness around sexual violence. As an educational and informational event designed for students, instructors and community members, the symposium will offer multiple perspectives and opinions from local professionals, experts and guests.

Hidden Truths: Realities of Sexual Assault will share insight from therapists, RCMP members and front-line service providers and will offer opportunities for open discussion. Information will be provided about service providers and resources in the region.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. with the symposium beginning at 7 p.m.
