It wasn’t a celebration of Feb. 29, but participants in Saturday’s annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics sure took a ‘leap’ of faith into the frigid water.

The event raised over $16,000, and was well-attended despite the snow.
