Red Deer RCMP respond to reported security threat

Red Deer RCMP are no longer on scene of an incident at 49 Street and 49 Avenue.

At 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Red Deer RCMP were made aware of a security threat at 4909 49 Street.

After investigation, police found no risk to the public and normal operations in the area have resumed.

Red Deer RCMP thank the public for the cooperation and patience while this incident was unfolding.
