Playoffs start tonight for Bantam AAA Rebels

The Bantam AAA Red Deer Rebels are onto the AMBHL playoffs after going 28-2-3 with 59 points and finishing as the top-ranked team in the league.

In the first round, Red Deer faces the fourth seed in the South Division, the Lethbridge Golden Hawks, who went 11-22-0 during the regular season collecting 22 points.

The Rebels and Golden Hawks met four times in the regular season, with the Rebels going undefeated (4-0-0) with scores of 5-1, 8-0, 4-3, and 9-0.

Game one of the best-of-three goes tonight at the Servus Arena at 7 p.m.
