Traffic disruption on 40 Avenue and 19 Street next weekend

Motorists should be aware of a multi-day road closure in southeast Red Deer.

Partial lane closures are in effect on 40 avenue from Ironside street to 19 street until 5:00 p.m. on February 29.

The closures are required for crews contracted by The City of Red Deer Engineering department to conduct utility alignments.

Traffic flow will be maintained during the closures but motorists may experience delays. 30 Avenue or Inglewood Drive can be used as a detour.

Drivers are reminded to slow down when approaching or driving in construction areas and obey all signs. Your patience and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
