Love and acceptance take centre stage in St. Francis of Assisi production of The Little Mermaid Jr.

Prepare to go under the sea this March as student’s at Red Deer’s St. Francis of Assisi Middle School showcase their production of The Little Mermaid Jr.

Matinee and evening showings are taking place March 5-7 at the Memorial Centre.

“This has been one of the most exciting and rewarding productions I have ever directed. This particular group of actors and actresses are so incredibly talented, charismatic and dedicated,” says Renee Redgate, the show’s director. “I can’t wait for the production to come to life in March.”

Showtimes are as follows:

March 5 at 12:30 p.m.
March 6 at 12:30 p.m.
March 6 at 7 p.m.
March 7 at 7 p.m.

The Little Mermaid Jr. is adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and motion picture. It is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance, according to a summary of the show.

Tickets are $10/person and can be purchased at the school office or at the door.
