February 12

10:08 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male is in the alley and is refusing to leave. Complainant broke up with them this morning. Members attended and separated the two.

10:32 am – Drayton Valley – Carleton East – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. A dark green SUV is parked in the parking lot. Member attended and located a known male. Male asked to move on and did so without issue.

10:54 am – Area of Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report slander by sister. One sister wants the other to cease contact with family over incidents that occurred several years ago when they were children.

11:39 am – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone attempted to break into their garage overnight. No entry gained, door damaged.

12:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant reporting theft of keys by son’s friend.

2:26 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended detachment and advised that they located their stolen gym bag with a known female. Complainant confronted female and got their bag back, however there are several items in the bag which did not belong to the complainant. Items brought to detachment. Member arrested the known female for possession of stolen property.

3:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant attended detachment to advise that a known female had stolen a battery that had been beside their shed.

3:34 pm – Drayton Valley – HW Pickup – Complainant attended the detachment to report their daughter was threatened at school. Related to incident at Bus Hub.

4:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting harassment. Member spoke with all parties involved.

5:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting an unwanted aggressive male. Male has been asked to leave several times but refuses to. Members attended, the male had left prior to arrival. Member located male and advised them not to return.

8:58 pm – Brazeau County – 911 open line, only static heard.

9:21 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 street – 911 abandoned call received, requesting police at 7-11. Complainant stated that a male attempted to assault them, fell on the floor. No injuries. Members attended. Males had been in a pushing match, consensual.

February 13

2:40 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious Dodge truck in parking lot. Member attended, truck was gone prior to arrival.

3:22 am – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Blvd. – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle with lights on. Complainant located an AMA card and statement left on the ground after vehicle left.

3:59 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Known female had hitchhiked to a gas station to get gas. No jerry can, so a member offered a ride to Mat program, however, the female declined. Member attempted to locate vehicle, vehicle gone.

6:27 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting an injured deer on the highway. Member attended to euthanize deer, deer already deceased.

9:57 am – Drayton Valley – Walmart – Complainant reporting an abandoned vehicle. Black Honda Civic has been in the parking lot for the past 3 days. Member attended, vehicle not stolen.

2:08 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting an online dating scam. Met a female online and provided them with their banking information. Female deposited $11,000 and bank seized the funds.

2:21 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting someone broke the passenger side window of their vehicle while it was parked outside of Boston Pizza.

3:40 pm – Drayton Valley – Pleasantview Trailer Court – Complainant calling to report a custody dispute. Ex is to have the children this weekend, however the children do not want to go. Member attended and mediated the situation as per the parenting order.

4:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop on Ford F-150. Registered owner had an outstanding warrant for no insurance. Driver arrested and stated that they had dealt with it in Evansburg last week. Member conducted more queries and confirmed story.

5:54 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol attempted a traffic stop but the vehicle fled. Vehicle located shortly after and a short foot chase ensued. 32-year-old James Hammond arrested and charged with Flight from Police, Dangerous operation of motor vehicle, Resist arrest, as well as outstanding warrants. Hammond held for a bail hearing.

6:12 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting theft of Skidoo from property. Skidoo MX2 yellow and black.

7:52 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant reporting a disturbance. 3 or 4 people are arguing outside the residence, breaking windows.

9:07 PM – Brazeau County – RR 71 – Complainant reporting a possible break and enter to residence. Members attended, residence had been broken into and items strewn about.

11:12 pm – Drayton valley – Urbanata – Complainant reporting their neighbours are being very loud. Member attended, known male opened door. 26-year-old Michael Ruesch arrested on an outstanding warrant for Possession of Stolen Property. Ruesch held for a bail hearing.

February 14

1:42 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Complainant reporting a family dispute. Members attended, one male taken to hospital then provided a courtesy ride back home.

3:32 am – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant reporting a stolen vehicle. Black 2003 Chevrolet Suburban.

8:19 am – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male. Members attended and located known male in the building. Male left when asked to do so.

9:55 am – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report their 32-year-old son missing. Last spoke to him 3 days ago. Members spoke with several persons in Drayton valley who saw and spoke to male recently. Police dealt with him on February 12th. Male not missing. Complainant advised son was fine.

10:05 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting a female dressed in black is going through the neighbours’ trash. Female is known to walk around town yelling and screaming. Members attended location, female gone prior to arrival.

10:09 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol observed male driver not wearing seatbelt. Traffic stop conducted with vehicle. Ticket for failing to wear seatbelt and non compliant window tint issued.

12:06 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting they learned a cheque made out to them by a customer in mid-December had been stolen from the mail. Cheque was for $793.49 and was processed in Calgary.

12:31 pm – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting someone drove up to the car lock and cut two of the lines. Suspect is male in a dark blue Chevrolet Silverado. Member attended, suspects stole two diesel pumps.

1:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male is in the foyer and won’t leave. Member attended location, male described is known to police, however had left prior to arrival. Members patrolled the area with negative results.

3:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on female who they believe is doing drugs. Member located female who was fine.

3:47 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting a break and enter to basement. Appears that someone had attempted to pry open the basement door.

4:21 pm – Drayton Valley – Walmart – 911 hangup from a cell phone. Female caller asked for RCMP then hung up. Member located female in the parking lot. Caller had been in a minor collision with another party. Complainant panicked.

6:49 PM – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an aggressive male who was asked to leave their business. Members attended and located male, who had been reported missing earlier in the day. Members provided a courtesy ride to the male.

7:38 pm – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Complainant reporting a male overdosing on heroin. Members attended with EMS. Male given multiple doses of naloxone and transported to hospital by EMS

8:51 PM – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone attempting to steal their truck. Members attended and observed a male matching the description of the suspect run from the residence across the street. Members placed the male under arrest for theft of truck. 32-year-old Mathieu Sergerie was arrested and charged with theft of truck and breach of probation. Sergerie was held for a bail hearing and released by Justice of the Peace.

11:28 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting noisy neighbours. Member attended and spoke with the offending party who apologized and agreed to keep the noise down.

February 15

12:26 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Members conducted a curfew check, no answer. Male being charged with breach of conditions.

12:27 am – Drayton Valley – Urbanata – Member on patrol observed a known stolen white Audi Q7. Member attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed. Driver identified, charges to follow.

1:07 am – Brazeau County – Alarm going off at residence. Members attended, no sign of forced entry. Place secure.

5:08 am – Drayton Valley – 50A Street – Members on patrol observed two males biking in the Industrial Area. One of the males fled from police and was later arrested for flight from police, an outstanding warrant for failing to comply with a condition of a peace bond and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. 33-year-old Jordan Devall was subsequently charged for the above offences and held of a hearing. Justice of the Peace released Devall.

12:04 pm – Violet Grove – Complaint received of a family disturbance. Complainant calling from BC to advise that their son had contacted them to advise their uncle was intoxicated and freaking out. Had kicked son out. Members attended and located uncle who was severely intoxicated. Parties separated, no assault.

1:10 pm – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting a young female crying. Member attended and located a 15-year-old female who had an argument with her mother. Members returned the female home and spoke with both parties.

1:55 pm – Drayton Valley – Carlton East – Complainant reporting a Break and Enter. 3 persons are presently in their residence. Members attended and located 3 persons in the residence. When the complainant was questioned, they advised that they had left the three asleep in their place the previous night. Complainant advised that the female had threatened them.

2:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. A white Chevrolet truck is going in and out of the parking lot. Further information received indicated that the truck belonged to the cleaning staff.

6:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting their roommate has returned. Complainant has evicted roommate as they found drugs in the residence. Roommate advised that they would be back with friends as they are upset about being kicked out. Member attended and arrested the male for uttering threats. A search located approximately 19.8 grams of Cocaine, a scale and a significant amount of cash. Male further arrested for Possession for the purpose of trafficking.

7:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting their neighbour is blocking their vehicle. Members attended, ongoing issue between both parties.

8:17 pm – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reporting a suspicious male pulling a sled. A male is wearing a balaclava and navy blue snowsuit and is pulling a red sled full of duffle bags and stereo systems. Members patrolled the area and located tracks. Area patrolled, no one located.

10:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Avenue – EMS requesting assistance with a 23-year-old male who is being violent and cutting their legs. Members attended, the male had cuts on legs, had a fight with girlfriend.

February 16

1:11 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant reporting a break and enter to their basement apartment within the past 6 weeks. Bedroom window open, not broken. Several items missing.

6:25 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Dark newer model car is facing south in the parking lot. Members attended, driver picking up child.

9:00 am – Drayton Valley – Brougham Drive – Complainant reporting missing person. Male was supposed to show up for work at 7 am, has not been seen since the previous night. Not answering any texts or phone calls. Male approximately 33 years old, heavy build wearing a dark hoodie, blue pants and work boots. Male drove company truck to North Battleford where they ran out of gas and made their way to Prince Albert.

11:00 am – Drayton Valley – 7-11 – Member on patrol was flagged down by an employee who advised that they caught a known female shoplifting. Queries of female indicate warrants out of Edmonton. Female arrested for shoplifting and on outstanding warrants.

12:02 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle south of Cynthia. Saw smoke and went to investigate. Complainant saw a chevy half-ton truck and old camper parked with snowbanks all around. Woodstove is smoking. Member attended and observed the vehicle and camper. Spoke with occupant.

3:26 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a 2006 white extended cab ¾ ton diesel passed unsafely, speeding. Vehicle was Southbound on Hwy 22. Members patrolled area, vehicle not located.

4:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Blue Dodge truck extended cab with male and female occupants is parked at the top of the hill looking into the vehicle compound. Complainant asked them to leave which they did.

5:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting squatters in an abandoned house. Contents of the house are strewn around the back alley. Member attended and located two individuals who provided proof that they are living there.

6:10 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant calling to request a wellbeing check on elderly male. Members attended residence, male was fine.

8:32 pm – Brazeau County – RR 80 – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver in the ditch. Male driver in a grey 4 door Chevrolet half tonne truck is in the ditch. Complainant stopped to see if they need help and driver became very ignorant. Members attended, roadside screening device used, driver blew a caution, driver given a 3-day roadside suspension and vehicle towed.

9:03 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting an audible alarm and a loud bang west of Bumper to Bumper. Members attended, no evidence of break-ins.

9:33 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver. Known male sleeping in their vehicle.

10:03 pm – Drayton Valley – Meier road – Complainant reporting intoxicated male is in a red older Chevrolet pick up truck. Patrols completed, Vehicle located but left when approached.

February 17

1:38 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious van with lights on at Goldy’s restaurant. Has been there for the past few hours. Members attended, nothing stolen, nothing suspicious

1:54 am – Drayton Valley – Boston Pizza – Complainant reporting an intoxicated driver in a white newer Ford long box. Members attended, miscommunication, driver was staying next door.

2:29 am – Area of Lodgepole – Complainant reporting they heard gunshots and a red Dodge truck driving around. They indicated they heard yelling and screaming then shots. Member responded, patrols completed. Neighbourhood inquiries indicated a false complaint.

10:18 am – Brazeau County – Township Road 514 – Complainant reporting a break and enter into a garage at a residence. Suspect vehicle is a newer model silver Chevrolet Silverado ¾ ton truck. Member attended residence. One occupant in truck wearing sneakers, hoodie, bandana covering face and black gloves.

10:31 am – Brazeau County – RR 70 – Complainant reporting an attempted break and enter. Suspect is male wearing tan snow pants and a blue/grey coat. Related to a previous complaint, similar suspect vehicle.

3:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious activity. 2 males are around a silver grey Dodge pickup trying to boost it. Members attended, suspects gone upon arrival. Vehicle stolen , not reported yet.

10:34 PM – Drayton Valley – Poplar Ridge – Complainant called 911 requesting police. Members attended residence. 2 individuals had gotten into a verbal argument over money.

February 18

5:21 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant advising of a traffic hazard. Several calls received. White older Dodge dually parked in northbound lane. Members attended and the vehicle towed.

9:00 am – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Complainant reporting a Break and Enter overnight. Back door was pried open, once inside some wiring and cables were stolen.

9:13 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a hit and run. Vehicle hit a locked and closed gate causing damage.

9:54 am – Tomahawk – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Black Ford pickup parked on a dead end road.

9:54 am – Cynthia – Complainant reporting a break and enter to lease site. Grey Chevrolet pickup appeared to be abandoned in the area. Member attended, nothing taken, hole in fence.

11:41 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant calling in to report a missing person. Last spoke on January 7th. Member advised complainant that person is not missing but safe.

1:15 pm – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge – Request members assist with obtaining belongings from previous residence. Members did not attend as they had attended on two previous occasions and retrieved all property.

3:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting an unwanted male has broken into a locked area of the courthouse. Members attended, suspect took off. Unknown how long male was in courthouse.

4:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – 911 misdial. Caller accidentally dialed 911 in error. All fine.

4:22 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting damage on their vehicle in excess of $2000. Unknown when occurred. Damage to their 2012 Grey BMW X5

5:31 PM – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting their sister came to the house and was yelling and swearing at them in front of the children. Member contacted the complainant who advised that the sister barged into their house has concerns over complainant parenting skills.

10:57 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Complainant reporting someone shoveled the top three steps at their front door and stomped on the step. Member attended, complainant advised that they heard someone shoveling their steps at 7:30 pm and was afraid.

10:59 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious males inside the Scotiabank. All dressed in black appear to be attempting to cover the cameras, two bikes are outside the bank. Members attended and located female who advised they were attempting to keep warm.

February 19

2:55 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol attempted a traffic stop with a newer model silver Chevrolet. Truck proceded to take off on members, refusing to stop.

8:55 am – Drayton Valley – Mackenzie Avenue – Complainant reporting a burgundy station wagon with no license plate. Member attended, VIN ran, vehicle not stolen. Registered owner contacted and advised their vehicle broke down on them and they took the licence plate so it wouldn’t get stolen.

10:19 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting theft of licence plate overnight.

10:45 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reported that they noticed their truck had a different plate on it. This was noted after the vehicle had been stolen and recovered.

11:46 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting their dark blue 2008 Ford Edge was struck by an unknown vehicle while parked in the back alley. A white Chevrolet truck was seen driving recklessly and striking their vehicle.

12:09 pm – Greenwood Trailer court – Complainant reporting they found some possible drugs on their property. Member attended and seized items

2:54 pm – Brazeau County – RR 71 – Complainant reporting garbage is scattered on neighbour’s yard. Complainant cleaned mess up.

5:59 pm – Drayton Valley – 62 Street – Complainant reporting vandalism at the Co-op gas station. Male approximately 6’2” with brown curly hair and glasses, and a female with blond hair wearing a black hoodie and grey cargo pants came into the gas station. Female was acting strange then went into the female bathroom and spray painted the changing table. Female then attended the counter and completed an application for employment.

6:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting a family dispute. Member attended the dispute between daughter and father. Daughter had left prior to arrival. Member patrolled area with negative results.

11:35 PM – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle. Newer black GMC in the parking lot has been parked for the past 30 minutes with the lights off. When the complainant approached, vehicle sped off. Member attended and located vehicle. Driver spoken to.
