Mounties arrest four in Rocky Mountain House for drug trafficking

Four people have been arrested for drug trafficking in Rocky Mountain House after Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in the town last week.

The search warrant executed Friday night saw officers locate a number of firearms at the residence, including a loaded 9 mm handgun and AK-47 Rifle. RCMP also turned up cocaine and a large amount of Canadian currency.

Mario Pierre-Cadotte, 33, Lucas Barth, 20, Diane Duncan, 34, and Dana Lynn Morin, 27, of Rocky Mountain House were each charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime under $5000, unauthorized possession of a firearm (x2), unauthorized possession of a firearm knowing possession unauthorized, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by crime and unsafe storage of a firearm.

Pierre-Cadotte and Morin were also charged with four counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.
