Family Day soccer tourney finds a home at the dome

Red Deer City Soccer Association is hosting teams from across the province this weekend for the annual Family Day tournament.

From U11-13, and U17, 29 teams are playing at the new sports dome in Gasoline Alley.

Meantime, 19 other teams and 300 players are competing at the Collicutt Centre, and eight teams (150 players) are squaring off at Westerner Park’s Agricentre.

The next big event for Red Deer City Soccer is the U13 boys and girls tier 1 boardless provincials, which will be held at the sports dome March 6-8.
