Free weight-management sessions improve eating habits
Local residents are invited to learn about improving eating habits and forming healthy relationships with food by attending an Alberta Health Services (AHS) weight-management program.
Managing Emotional Eating is a free, three-part workshop led by AHS health professionals who share their expertise and guide interactive group sessions. Participants will learn how eating habits are formed, and how triggers such as emotions, situations and events can be managed to help develop better eating habits that will last a lifetime. The program is open to residents 17 years of age and older.
Managing Emotional Eating will be held Feb. 25 and March 3 and 10 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Bethany Collegeside, 99 College Cir.
Registration is required as the date and time are subject to change.
