RCMP Major Crimes Unit investigates suspicious death in Wetaskiwin

WETASKIWIN- The RCMP are investigating a suspicious death that occurred on Feb. 1 in Wetaskiwin.

At 7:26 a.m., Mounties responded to a residence for a complaint of a man not breathing.

EMS attended and declared the 26-year-old dead.

The investigation has revealed that the victim was involved in a previous altercation outside of the residence.

RCMP Major Crimes Unit were deployed and have taken charge of the investigation.

Police believe that this was an isolated incident.
