B.C. man dies from “firearms-related injury” east of Airdrie

Police are investigating after a man from B.C is dead after suffering a “firearms-related injury” east of Airdrie.

It was on Thursday at around 3:00 p.m. when Beiseker RCMP received a complaint of a firearms-related injury in the area of Highway 567 and Range Road 280.

Beiseker, Three Hills and Airdrie RCMP responded to the location and initiated first aid until Emergency Medical Services attended and took over treatment of the injured male.

Police say the 30-year-old male from Saanich, B.C. succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
