Police seeking two suspects after deceased man found near Springbank Airport

Police continue the search for two people wanted after the body of a man was found Dec. 29 near Springbank Airport.

RCMP Major Crimes Unit says it has since been determined that the cause of death was homicide.

Police obtained arrest warrants for two adults believed to be in possession of the victim’s car, a bronze 2013 Kia Optima with Alberta plate E22149.

Trista Nadene Tinkler, 34, is described as 5’6″ tall and 154 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes.

Robert Gordon Daignault, 51, is described as 5’9″ tall and 185 pounds, with hazel eyes and a bald head.

The bronze 2013 Kia Optima with Alberta plate E22149 believed stolen by Tinkler and Daignault. Its whereabouts are unknown.

Charges pending against Tinkler and Daignault include possession of property obtained by crime, theft of a credit card, and failure to comply with an appearance notice. Daignault is also charged with obstructing a peace officer.

RCMP advise that the pair may be armed and present a danger to the public. An earlier release stated they may be in the Calgary area, but it’s now believed they could be in or around Edmonton. The location of the vehicle remains unknown.
