Investigator’s hunch helps identify missing Calgary man

CALGARY- Police say human remains found in northern Alberta last fall have been identified as those of a Calgary man who disappeared under suspicious circumstances more than four years ago.

Bradley Shaw, who was 27, was last seen by relatives in Calgary on September 2, 2015.

Security video showing him in Airdrie, that same day, is believed to be the last time he was seen alive.

The remains were discovered near Slave Lake in October 2018 and, a year later, the RCMP released a composite sketch and model rendering to help them identify the body.
