Salvation Army in need of Adopt-a-Family sponsors

The Salvation Army in Red Deer is in need of more sponsors for its Adopt-A-Family program.
Major Larry Bridger says they currently have 126 families registered for the program, but only about 70 sponsors.
On the bright side, Bridger says they have heard from plenty of people interested in helping local seniors through the program.
The Adopt-A-Family program anonymously matches sponsors with registered families or seniors in need, providing toys for children 0-18, a gift for seniors 60+, and a Christmas dinner food hamper or gift card.
