Northern Alberta crash kills two people

SLAVE LAKE- Two people — a 23-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman — have died in a crash between a sedan and an S-U-V in northern Alberta.

RCMP say the two died at the scene northwest of Slave Lake on Highway 2 at Nine Mile Bridge just after noon yesterday.

Mounties described road conditions as icy at the time of the crash.

Police continue to investigate.

No names have been released.
