Teen dies following crash in Fort Saskatchewan

FORT SASKATCHEWAN, Alta. – A 15-year-old boy has died after he was hit by a vehicle in Fort Saskatchewan, Alta.

RCMP say the crash happened at about 6 a.m. on Saturday.

They say the teen was a pedestrian, and the 54-year-old woman driving the vehicle wasn’t hurt in the crash.

Police closed the section of road where the crash happened for several hours so they could investigate.

The road has since re-opened.
