Alberta Chambers of Commerce launches red tape reduction survey

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) is asking businesses to complete their short survey on red tape, cost barriers and business services.

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce is a federation on 1224 community-based chambers of commerce representing more than 25,000 job creators.

Results from part one of the survey, which took place in the spring, can be seen here.

On Tuesday, the provincial government announced it is launching a small business industry panel to identify the unnecessary red tape holding back these jobs creators.

The province says the panel is made up of small business owners, associations assisting small business growth, and successful Alberta-founded companies that started out as small businesses.
