Bower Place partners with Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre

Nov 16, 2019 | 9:19 AM

Bower Place is teaming up with the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre (CACAC) for the holiday season.

Volunteers from the centre will be there for Santa’s Arrival at Bower Place on Sunday, Nov. 17 and will be working the gift wrapping station at The Great Indoor Market from Nov. 16 – Dec. 24. Gift wrapping will be $2-5 with all proceeds going to the CACAC.

Also, proceeds from the “Girls Night Out” event at Bower Place – an exclusive VIP shopping event featuring hors d’oeurves, wine, music, massages, cosmetic demos and fashion moments – will be going to the centre. Retailers taking part include Sage, Sephora, Lush and Hudson’s Bay.

“The Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre is ecstatic to be Bower Place’s charity of choice,” says CEO Mark Jones. “It is through community support that we are better able to create awareness of our cause, and the support that we provide.”

“Bower Place is proud to partner with and support the centre,” says Bower Place GM Sonya Hunt. “We admire their ongoing commitment to children and families in central Alberta, and are honoured to have them as an integral part of our upcoming holiday events.”
