Nov 14, 2019 | 1:28 PM

The Salvation Army in Red Deer has kicked off its 2019 Kettle Campaign.

The goal this year is to raise $245,000, which makes up just over half of the organization’s overall goal of $455,000 for its Christmas campaign.

“All funds raised in the Kettle Campaign in Red Deer stay here to support our programs and services we offer year-round, including our food bank, senior’s programs, school meal program, and more,” explains Major Larry Bridger with the Salvation Army. “Every donation will change a life.”

Kettles in Red Deer are located at Bower Place, Parkland Mall, Canadian Tire (south), Co-op in Timberlands and Deer Park, Walmart (north and south), Superstore and Costco.
