RDC Kings finish 6th at soccer nationals in Ontario

Oshawa, Ontario – The RDC Kings have proven themselves the sixth best team in Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Soccer.

Dealing with a number of injuries, the Kings lost their final game against Ontario’s Humber Hawks by a score of 5-0.

“I think if we could play more than ten minutes with our full roster, we could compete at this level, but that isn’t what happened this week,” said Head Coach Wade Groenewegen.

The coach also described the way his team played at the tournament in Oshawa as a “complete effort.”

The Kings finished as the top team representing the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. Lethbridge finished 8th.
