FIRE SAFETY CONCERNS
Calgary firefighters concerned about response times

CALGARY- The Calgary Firefighters Association says a shortage of crews is putting people at risk.
President Mike Henson says in some cases fire trucks aren’t responding to fires quickly enough because they are too far away from some neighbourhoods.
The city approved 14 new communities last year, most of which will be built on the city’s outskirts.
None of them have a firehall.
