Record breaking Alberta Lotto Max win

CALGARY- A 63-year-old Calgary man has claimed the largest Lotto Max jackpot in Alberta history — $65-million.

Tai Trinh says he is a regular buyer of a coffee and a Lotto Max ticket at the same Shell store and bought the winning ticket on October 4.

He says he has no plans for the moment to do anything special with the money.

The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission says the jackpot is tied for the largest lottery win in Canada.
