City to update recreation software November 4-7

The Intelli system, which is used for all recreation, parks and culture programming registration, scheduling, point of sale and memberships at The City of Red Deer, will be updated in November.

The update is expected to repair issues experienced since its implementation last year, and provide an improved user experience for customers and staff.

During the update process, customers will experience a brief service disruption. Look ‘n Book, The City’s online registration system, will be unavailable from Monday, November 4 at approximately 4:30 p.m. to Thursday, November 7 at approximately 8 a.m.

The Intelli system will be unavailable on Tuesday, November 5 from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All transactions on November 5 will be cash only, with the following services not available:

o Program registrations in all City facilities

o Program withdrawals and refund processing

o Payments on outstanding account balances

o Access to customer accounts and updating customer information

o Facility bookings

o Wedding and picnic bookings

o Transit pass sales

o Gift card sales

o Fee Assistance Program applications

Customers are encouraged to register for classes that start the first week of November on or before November 1, by visiting www.reddeer.ca/looknbook.
