Submitted)Red Deer RCMP are reminding local motorists to allow themselves enough time to get to where they’re going and obey all the rules of the road following a two-vehicle collision near Bower Ponds Wednesday night.

According to RCMP, the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. when an SUV turned left to go westbound onto Kerry Wood Drive and cut-off a southbound pickup truck along Taylor Drive, causing a collision.

Police say the 18-year-old female driver and lone occupant of the SUV now faces two Traffic Safety Act violations, including turning left unsafely.

There were no injuries.
