Police lay over 4400 charges on Thanksgiving long weekend

EDMONTON- Over the Thanksgiving long weekend, police forces across Canada led their #OperationImpact initiative to encourage safe driving.
The initiative is organized by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police.
In Alberta, between October 11-14, police say there were four fatalities, 18 people were injured, and there were 272 separate collisions.
